Add Water: Blend until smooth. Add water one tablespoon at a time to achieve the desired consistency.
Taste and Adjust: Taste and adjust the seasoning with additional salt or lemon juice as needed.
Serve: Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with paprika if desired. Serve with pita bread, fresh vegetables, or use as a spread in sandwiches.
Variations
Roasted Red Pepper Hummus: Add roasted red peppers to the food processor along with the other ingredients.
Garlic Hummus: Increase the amount of garlic for a more robust flavor.
