Nayab Singh Saini takes oath as Haryana Chief Minister

Nayab Singh Saini has officially taken the oath as the new Chief Minister of Haryana, succeeding Manohar Lal Khattar.

The oath-taking ceremony occurred at Raj Bhawan in Chandigarh, where Saini expressed gratitude towards Khattar for his leadership and contributions to the state during his tenure.

Saini, a member of the BJP and a leader from the OBC community, previously served as an MP for Kurukshetra. His political journey includes serving as an MLA since 2014 and being part of various roles within the BJP, rising through its ranks over the years. His appointment follows a significant reshuffle, as Khattar and his entire Cabinet resigned just before Saini's induction.

This change comes amid speculation about coalition dynamics in Haryana and upcoming elections, marking a pivotal moment in the state's political landscape.
