PM Modi to inaugurate new Mumbai Metro line, infra projects worth over ₹50,000 crore in Maharashtra

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate significant infrastructure projects in Maharashtra today, October 5, 2024. His visit will include the launch of the Mumbai Metro Line 3 and various other development initiatives totaling over ₹56,000 crore.

Mumbai Metro Line 3: The new section from BKC to Aarey JVLR will cost approximately ₹14,120 crore. After the inauguration, Modi will take a ride on the metro between BKC and Santacruz stations

Development Projects: In Thane, he will lay the foundation for various projects worth over ₹32,800 crore, including the Thane Integral Ring Metro Rail Project and the Elevated Eastern Freeway Extension

Agricultural Initiatives: In Washim, Modi will launch initiatives valued at ₹23,300 crore aimed at enhancing agriculture and animal husbandry, including the distribution of funds to farmers under the PM-KISAN scheme

Additional Projects: The PM will also dedicate solar parks, farmer producer organizations, and new technologies for cattle breeding.
